Sara Brambillasca: “Here, our values embrace technological innovation”
What brought you to Electron Mec?
“I previously worked for large multinational companies, but I wanted a new challenge—something more dynamic, in a growing company where people matter and values still count. I was looking for a place that combined a human touch with forward-thinking innovation. A company that stood out in the market without compromising daily work-life balance. I knew it wouldn’t be easy to find. Then a friend spoke very highly of Electron Mec—and she was right. The company, the people, the environment—everything clicked. At the start of the week, I don’t feel the weight of going back to work. I feel excited to challenge myself again. That’s rare and truly valuable”.
What does your typical day look like?
“I spend most of my time in the office—it’s welcoming, comfortable, and private, but still connected to what’s happening outside. I independently handle the administrative side, managing priorities and timelines to reach clear and specific goals. What I really value at Electron Mec is the trust and freedom I’m given. It motivates me to always do better. Of course, Dr. Calligarich is always available to guide or support when needed. Being involved in decision-making processes gives me a real sense of purpose and pride in what we accomplish. There’s also a positive team spirit—respectful and friendly. We have lunch together, manage our breaks freely, and regularly share ideas and feedback. It feels like working with friends. There’s no clocking in and out—just shared goals and shared wins”.
And how does working with such advanced technology make you feel?
“I don’t always understand the technical details (it’s not my field), but the team is always happy to explain projects and solutions with real enthusiasm. It’s exciting to be part of a company that contributes to technological progress in key industries. The future is full of opportunity, and being part of something that’s helping shape that future is truly motivating. Knowing that my work plays a role in that larger mission makes it even more meaningful. These challenges have driven growth—expanding the team, improving processes, streamlining organization. I feel actively involved and inspired to help find smarter, more effective solutions every day”.
Are you involved in hiring new team members?
“I don’t usually lead the recruitment process—that’s handled by the technical experts. But I often take part in interviews. Beyond the necessary technical skills, we really value soft skills: empathy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to grow and contribute. Teamwork and mutual respect are core values at Electron Mec. We see people not just as individuals, but as sources of added value. That’s why we reward professionalism with a strong, motivating compensation policy that builds loyalty and a shared sense of achievement”.
Do these values also translate into employee wellbeing?
“Absolutely. While we push for growth and better structure, we never lose sight of honest, human relationships. Electron Mec truly cares about employee wellbeing. We listen to people’s needs and look for solutions that benefit everyone. Last year we introduced meal vouchers, and now we’re exploring new welfare options that match employees’ evolving needs and what the company can realistically offer. It’s a bit like a family—when an issue comes up, we sit down, talk openly, and find solutions together”.
